I love reading books, but my eyes are getting worse because of my profession that makes me sit near a computer screen the whole day. So I am getting less and less appealed to reading anything on a computer screen after work, as well. Alas, a lot of stuff to read (especially free ones) are on the Net.
So, I have been thinking, for a while, now - what if the text was read to me, while I relax, with my eyes closed? I did a simple search (guess where) and found this software: http://www.naturalreaders.com/ The quality is not bad - much better than what I have ever heard in text2speech (well, I am not an expert in that field but anyway) and it is quite bareable.
It is quite user-friendly, too and they do have a free version. Website claims commercial version is of better quality, tho.
